Summer is Here and She's Seven!

Monday, June 19
It was a rainy last day of archery.

It was such a stormy day that we hadn't even known if we could make it to archery.  Right before class, we popped into the grocery store and just as we were about to leave the skies opened to torrential rains and wind.  Rain was pouring through the ceiling and people literally blew into the store.  There was a brief reprieve for archery, but by the time we got home more storms were passing through.

The sunset, though.

Tuesday, June 20
Our last day of school.  (Sea Turtles that we had made on Friday for National Sea Turtle Day.)

Wednesday, June 21
Happy First Day of Summer!
We celebrated with yogurt parfait cones for lunch and then an afternoon at the "lake."

More storms sent us home.

But it cleared up in time for a town meeting about cell towers.  (Thankfully, that tower got voted out.)

Thursday, June 22
Happy 7th Birthday, Beza!!!

She opened her gifts in the morning.

Then we went to Target so that she could pick out all new bedding and a new picture for her wall, before going to Panera's for lunch.  (Their PB&J is her favorite.)

We got home just in time for Nana and Pop to come.

(Cupcakes by M.)

It was a beautiful day to celebrate Beza. :)

Friday, June 23
They spent the morning with Nana and Pop before they left.

(Stickers books and the 5 Crowns score sheet.)

Then they had swim tests at the lake.

Saturday, June 24
It was (finally) our last Soccer Saturday of the season.

Both Beza and T made it into the championships.  (T's team won and Beza's was a draw.)

It was also our last day with J's car--he was picking up a new-to-him one on Monday.

After soccer we hurried home to get ready for M and T's recital.  T played In The Hall of the Mountain King and M played a minuet.

M also got this book because she lost another tooth.  (I think this tooth-losing business will never end. ;)

Whoo-hoo for summer finally being here!  This was the week that all of the school activities ended and our schedule opened up to summer days. :)
