The Week of September 6-September 12
We were SO EXCITED to get to meet our newest nephew and niece (born on Friday)! (And to hang out with their older brother. :)
We loved that we were able to hold them when they're still so little. :)
Then we made a little "detour" to Watkins Glen. It's like taking a walk into a movie scene. Unreal.
The sunset that night was beautiful (before the LONG drive home).
This week normally finds as at the beach celebrating the end of the summer with our friends. Instead we went to the beach at the beginning of the summer. BUT we still spent the day hanging out with them for a cook-out. (A picture of the kitchen clean-up to help us remember. :)
From Instagram: It's back. The calendar and I were both relieved to find out that girls have overlapping practice times on Tuesday. (His is later this week.) We celebrated breaking out all the gear and making it through the sweltering practice with ice cream topped with Trader Joe's hot fudge sauce.
Our last day before school started. We had breakfast and lunch out and then headed to kindergarten orientation. She is very ready for school.
From Instagram: Our first day of formal all-day school starts tomorrow. Megan and Toben both went to half-day kindergarten before we started homeschooling. It's the beginning of new adventures and we're packed and ready. (I think...)
Happy First Day of School.
She LOVED kindergarten! And was so excited to go again. Yay!
