A Beza Meet and Greet

Time for a quick lowdown on 16-month-old Beza.

Meet Kitty and Gordy--two of her best little furry buddies.  Gordy is her favorite.  Mom confession: I may have been a bit of a Gordy pusher for awhile.  I used my best bear voices to make him irresistibly charming.  She fell in love with the little guy.  Appropriately, she calls him "Gord-o"  (which in Spanish means something like "pleasantly plump." :)

And this is Dwayne.  He obviously likes to read books (and is learning Spanish).  Just like Beza (the reading, not the Spanish part).  Her current favorite is Jesse Bear, What Will You Wear?

Hmm...and let's see, what else?  Oh, yeah--she has been walking around with her hands behind her back--kind-of reminds me of a little grandma pacing around the floor.
And in that pacing, she usually finds some baskets to dump out and to climb into.  Then she gets stuck. :)

She has names for everyone in the house, including the cats--who, btw, do not share mutual feelings towards each other. :)

And she LOVES her people.  She is quite generous with her hugs.

She is doing very well. :)  She loves singing--her two favorites--Row, Row, Row and Open Them, Shut Them.  Her little personality is coming out more and more every day--there is a quiet "passion" that can make things interesting (like really not liking not being able to put all of the walnuts on the shelf into the cart at the grocery store. :)  But, she is so funny--her expressions are priceless--I don't know how she can roll her eyes so far back into her head--but it's a crowd pleaser.

Helping me put away the TP today--all while holding onto a balloon.

Such a fun little age! :)
