Dressed Up for Halloween...And Winter?

We spent Saturday afternoon digging through basement bins for boots and snowpants so that everyone could go out and play in the ~11 inches of snow that was dumping down.

These poor trees are still fully covered in green leaves.

Sunday morning wonderland.

Beza loves snow.

Taking a break after a long walk exploring the woods before all of the snow fell off of the trees.

Besides dressing up in snow gear--we've also been digging through the basement dress-up bin for Halloween costumes. :)

(A quick rundown for the grandparents. :)
Preschool Trunk-or-Treat.  Dude totally sang all of the Halloween songs loud, off-key and out-of-sync--but with great passion. :)

Neighborhood party--the "builder" and 2 princess fairies.  (Look at that snow.)

Halloween night--our 2 astronauts.

And the Nittany Lion (simply thrilled to be eating some chocolate.).

The hand-made "Nittany Lion" costume through the years...
Now it's time to tuck away all of the costumes for another year.  The snowsuits, on the other hand, well, it looks like they're here to stay for a few months...

  1. I just can't believe all that snow!!! CRAZY!! Thanks be to GOD it did not hit us yet!

  2. They are so cute, and I can't believe all that snow!!! So crazy!!! It was like 75 degrees and sunny here today! :)
